Shipmates,
Last night at 0200 VA time, I got a call that my Uncle Retired GM3 Ken D. McNulty crossed the bar. As is custem on here I am writing so that we as a family can morn his passing, and so that anyone who knew him from Yorktown GM school 1985 or so, or the USCGC Dallas 1982 or so will think of him and remember. For me, My uncle was always glad to learn of what I am up to as an Auxiliarist, and our Coast Guard connection was very strong. He said he would have stayed in the Guard for life were it not for a stroke at thirty. If you knew him, and wish to attend services, or just help to send him on to the next watch, please post or contact me at KB5UJM (at) ARRL.NET Semper Paratus Uncle Kenny, your watch has ended, I have your watch. Robert,
We are very sorry to hear about the passing of your uncle Ken. He can rest peacefully knowing you have the watch now. May the good Lord comfort you and your family. God bless, Mario M. |

Shipmates,
Donations to the Disabled American Vets, or the CGMA in his name are also good should you wish to go that route. The viewing will be from 1900 to 2000 at the HOGG Feuernal home in Glouster, VA. The services (which are open to those who may wish to help lay a shipmate to rest will be at the Chappel on board Yorktown training center at 0930 Thursday sep 18.) we are still looking to find a fireing party so if you can help in this department it would be a help. I will say that the CACO (SCPO Johnson from yorktown) , and SNBN Recardo from the bear who noticed me and snickers at the air port last night after being up for 24 hours straight, and not to forget Father Carl (also from Tracen yorktown), have been my Guardians throughout this whole ordeal. It is never easy to lose a loved one, and we all wern't expecting to loose him so fast. While he lived a life of fifty five years, loving the Guard from Sea Cadets on, we all never expected that a heart attack would take him... We just want to send him on his way in stile.
