I doubt I will join the A.L. Might check out VFW though. There was an article in the local paper recently questioning whether smoking should be banned in those vets halls. Seems the WIVES are opposed to smoking there. My take on it--these guys are veterans that served in WW II, Korea, Vietnam and now Iraq. It is a veterans organization. They should be the ONLY ones to have a say in the matter, not their wives. Wonder if I can find an organization that bans the wives from the premises?  |
