Did you vote Keith?
Does anyone feel that this poll might get played with down the stretch and Larry will have an incredible comeback to stay on as moderator? Wink
Maybe we should have polls to see if someone should be banned or suspended for improper posting ect, as well as elect moderators through a polling of willing participants.
In the end what do you guys get out of being moderators, is it or would it be noted on a resume or personal bio of who's who in America ?
Seems to me it would be a lot more fun to come and do a little trash talking without folks jumping on your every word or phrase.
A better question might be why do you folks want to be moderators?

Peace,
Dick Cool

Dick,
Actually, I'm a moderator because my pants make my azz look fat, so I can't do anything else.

Wink

Stormer,
Who revealed the presence of my goat?! Who?! I'll suspend them! Big Grin

Walter,
That IS one whacked out school district.

Stick to wearing black pants for a slimming visual effect on all fat azzes. Wink
You know I'm a curiouse why anyone would want to be a moderator? I know there are a few good answers to this question.

Be well,
Dick Cool

Okay...I voted. As I promised, I voted three times (all A's of course), had to use the neighbors PC and my daughters lap top to send the other two from different IP addresses (as you requested)...

Now I expect the check wil be in the mail tomorrow and recieved by me on saturday the 10th, or I'll post this e-mail as an accidental post...

Best regards,

Eddie

sindbad: The graduating class like the district so much they sent them a letter signed by over 3/4s of them telling them not to come. The superintendent is pissed as were the two board members from our village. The super wanted to know (from me) who wrote the letter and didn't believe me when I told him that it was a student. Oh, well! Someday he will realize that we are teaching kids to think on their own (especially since he is from this town). Cool

Be nice or I'll have the other mods circle their wagons around me and...

....oh, wait. That's a different thread Big Grin

I will close the poll June 1, 2008, and if a minimum of 100 votes have been received, I'll decide whether I stay on or move on. If my "grade" average is 70% or lower, I shall clean out my locker and rack and depart the mod berthing area.

If my grade is 71% or higher, I will install rack curtains and light the smoking lamp on the rec deck, and light a fat cigar.

Popcorn

P.S. My fellow mods, please let the fur fly a bit, and I'll take any punches on the chin as constructive review. Oh, and please, no mod voting. Smile

IMHO - not worth a squat!!! Nothing has changed in 17 years...

Keith

Not worth a squat? 17 Years? That would be 1991 using basic math. I didn't even own a PC 17 years ago. So grinding an axe Keith? I'll say this - one of the reasons I resigned as a moderator is so I can reply (or not if I chose) to posts that as a moderator I was constrained in my response. Explain to me the 17 year comment please.

Well, I had said (besides the average requirement):

Only received 31 votes...

....so here I am! Razz

The rack curtains will be made out of vintage Playboy centerfolds and the cigar will be one I steal from Rush Limbaugh. Big Grin
