From the Navy times...not quite sure what this is all about. It doesn't sound good though.

Well, I think we all make mistakes, but damn, this is ugly. You have to ask what was he thinking? And with the parents home!!!!!!

I can't believe how stupid some of these people are on dateline. They have seen the show, and in a couple of cases have already been caught by the show and get caught again before they have even gone to trial for the first time.

This kind of thing happened in Alaska too, a Commander in the Navy was arrested for almost the same thing, except the girl was his daughter. Sad thing is I went to church with him and his family. Never saw it coming.

The difference between this one and the one's on dateline is dateline tells the predators they are young. This one, the girl lied and said she was 28.

This doesn't excuse the first time he saw her ... where he had an opportunity to decline.

Thirty years ago, one thing every sailor at Simeri Crichi learned was to ask in Italian ... How old are you. Of course back then it was all face-to-face and not words on a screen. But we all know that in today's guard, stuff like that is useless.

Well, he is a 36 year old LT who was on a buoy tender before his assignment to Coast Guard HQ.

What does that say? Did he serve as a prior enlisted? Is it common for LT's to be older than 34 years of age?

Joe, HE is the one that said HE was 28, not her.
(although I'm sure she lied too...)

Let's see...the parent caught him in the early morning hours in the girl's bedroom located in the basement. He jumped out of the window when confronted. Something tells me he probably came in that way also if the parent didn't know he was there. I bet he knew exactly how old she was.

I know many LT's over 34. I am one myself.

Ensign Jason Frank, in his rabbit fur hat, takes his turn "conning" on deck - operating the throttle, and calling directions to the man at the wheel.

My lord guys, he is still an Officer in the USCG, lets not put his entire service record out there for all to see. He will go through enough misery without our assistance I suspect.

Well Tony, he is a public servant. Hence, this information is and must remain available to the public such as rank, duty station, etc. We are not judging him. We did not say he is guilty. We just gave info that is not private such as if he is married, the name of his children, if he does have children, etc.

And you won't see me endorsing Wray's comment about: "I guess if ya really wanted to know you could check the Register of Officers... Somehow, the CG in it's infinate wisdom made this guy a LT... regardless.. A sicko is a sicko ......"

Like I said, I am not judging him and saying he is guilty or not.
