I happened to be inventorying some professional gear today in my home office and noted an overabundance of certain items which I will likely not be using anymore in this lifetime, one being an almost entire LANTFLT required load-out of charts for the eastern seaboard of the US/Canada and even a few UK charts (all DMA issue).

I'm keeping all my PACFLT charts, but I'd like to offer these LANT ones up to the membership here if any would be interested (for framing, etc.). Obviously they would need to be corrected to the latest NTM if you intend to use them for marine navigation (last time this was done was circa 1996-1997).

If anyone is interested, pls feel free to post here the location/general area (e.g., Long Island Sound, Boston Harbor, Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, York River etc.) or chart number (e.g., 13223) and I will take a look through the pile. If I have the one(s) you desire, we can communicate offline and I will send to you at whatever address you desire.

Surface Force

Are they the regular charts, or are they 'blacked out'?

Hey Sailor - any of the Key West area?

I'd like one of those...San Francisco Bay, if you want to give it up...

Thanks

Very kind offer.
Either 12263 or 12270 would be much appreciated.

Dick: A series of D1 AOR charts is headed your way at the warehouse. Cool

Tim: Closest I have to the Keys is Pensacola Bay and the Virgin Islands. Frown

Bruce: I have two (2) copies each of 12263 and 12270. Want all or just one of each? Beer

Kev: The tracklines have all been redacted to protect the guilty. Razz

One of each is more than generous. It's ok if you leave the tracklines to Thursday's and Pirate's Cove restaurants in Galesville. Beer
What's the best way to get you my mailing address?

Do you have any bathymetric charts of New England from Cape Cod north. I would also be interested in a few offshore charts showing loran lines ie: Massachusetts Bay, Bay of Fundy to Cape Cod, Portsmouth to Cape Ann and Georges Bank.

Thank You

Do you have any Florida east coast above Palm Beach County, especially from St. Augustine down to past Canaveral; any ICW of east coast Florida; and St. Johns River (above, which would be South of, Palatka); Boca Ciega Bay and Tampa Bay?

Tim, I might have an extra Keys chart, I don't have a KW harbor chart but I might have a "lower keys and approaches" (but with my memory, it could be Key Largo).

Speaking of memory, remind me where we were stationed together?

David: Unfortunately, no bath charts, but I do have LORAN charts of Georges Bank and Nantucket Shoals and a few non-LORAN ones of the offshore to include Bay of Fundy, Portsmouth to Cape Ann and Mass Bay. I'll PM you. Beer

Ray: Sorry, FL ones are all gone. Frown

1110 Since you are keeping them, it is a moot point, but one of the Tonkin Gulf, where I spent my misguided youth on a CVA, would be nice!

Yeah, I'd love it. Thanks. Address is

Tim, I was in the same district but different places at those times. I was in KW 1984-88, Canaveral 88-89, Miami 89-92, NOLA 92-93, ATC Mobile 93-98, ELC for six months (five months actually, with a month in Haiti) 98-99, back to Miami 99-01, Mackinaw 01-02. I was pretty sure we were either in Canaveral, NOLA, or Miami at the same time.
