They have that day every 1st and 15th of the month. Its called pay day.

I wonder if any commands had spouse appreciation day at the unit so the husbands/ wives could hangout all day playing volleyball and eating while the single members did all the work?

As long as I get Friday off while they do my work then I see no problem.
