I'm curious, what happened that the boards were down all weekend? I never saw that happen before. It looks like everything is okay now though. Big Grin

Confused The boards weren't down. Everyone was watching TV, with the President on vacation and Sen Kennedy's funeral no one had time to post. Big Grin

It was a server glitch that took the entire thing down. I understand its been partially corrected, but hit and miss down time can be expected the next few days.

I, for one, am stunned. Just stunned! The boards where down all weekend and the Coast Guard is still here? Decisions still got made without the vast benefit of all our input on things which we know little about? We still ran cases, bought boats, promoted people, made awards, flew helicopters, sailed ships and all while these boards where down??

I am STUNNED!

I sent an e-mail to the fixer people and received an immediate reply saying that they were working on it. What else can we ask for? Sometimes fixing something takes time.

Thanks for fixing it, folks! I appreciate your efforts.

They were found on Sunday, but the Coast Guard had called off the search on Friday.. Possibly due to the boards being down. Big Grin

Yeah I'm sure we could have gave the CG the direction of Drift, speed and area to search for the Missing boaters,to bad the boards went down. Violin we could have made the Guard look good. Big Grin

If we had only put Harpoons on the Patrol Boats... If only... All that could have been avoided! Wink

Nah, ya had one already, kinda like Barney Fifes bullet. Shot it into the air, charred the paintjob on the 01 deck fwd, pizzed off the BMC and deck force, blew some observer admirals gold scrambled eggs ball cap into the North Pacific. That was that for the rocket ship shinnigans.

Ah, back when Mellon was a “real” warship. Bring back the 5in and torpedoes too.

The Coast Guard didn't find those 3 guys it was a passing yacht that found them.....those 3 guys did everything right to survive. if only they had an EPIRB. Great news down heya in tejas.

Could be considered a self contradiction there. Good for them and their families. Now, not too sure if they are so lucky that they should rush to one of the Casinos, or if they used up all of their good luck right there.
