I resigned from the Navy a year ago, I had 10 years of service and was an O-3 selected for O-4. I would like to consider getting back in perhaps in another branch USA,USMC or USAF. I was a Supply Officer with a specialty as a Warranted Contracting Officer. Is there opportunites in other branches? How much of a hit wold I take with regards to my rank?

Any help is appreciated.

Your best bet will be the active duty Army. But, you must be concerned on your promotion potential since your Army peers will be more competitive for selection from O-4 and on.

Why did you get out after 10 years? Was that a mistake on your part? If you are selected by the Army, you best volunteer for Iraq/Afgan as quickly as possible. You won't stand a prayer for promotion otherwise. Two tours should do it. Go Army.
