Hi my name surfergirl and I was in the army national guard and army for a total of almost 4yrs. I was discharge from the army on personality disorder - honorable with a separation code of JFX and a reentry code of 3. I wanted to know what this meant? Also I want to know what is the statis of re enlisting with a mental health issue (ADD, Depression etc.,) but not on medication. Can you re enlist if you are on medication and your condition had been under control for a long time (more than 4 to 5 years). Thank - you. Really like to go back in but I know it may not be possible and still have my uniform which fit me.
The re-3 means you had a 6 month wait but htat is over. You would have to get a physch consult and if that comes out alright you could come back in. My phone is 401-374-9055 call me for more information.I am at the office now.
I'm most likely going to join the NG this upcoming summer; however, the main reason i want to join is for the Special Force. I had some general questions on what MOS I should enlist as first, as well as eyesight quetions. I would appreciate it if some one could help me out. Thanks.
I was in the Air Force and had alot going on was diagnosed with adjustment disoerder but was seperated with JFX (personality Disorder) With an RE Code of 2C, I know I would need a waiver if I tried Active Duty (did try). What would I need to join the Guard? Is it differant from State by state? Also how are waivers granted? Do they just go to meps or do they go higher? Thanks!
There is a 12 month wait from your discharge date. You will also need a NGB waiver by CNGB authority after you take a physical. If you have documentation from a doctor stating that you are at 100% (without medication), call me. If you do not, call a DR. for a screening to obtain documetation prior to calling me.
