So I'm so excited about transferring this year that I had to start a discussion about possible available positions!! Whisper If you're filling an SK1 spot and transferring in 2010 let us know where your at and how it is.

(I'm in an SK2 spot right Sleeping or I would add mine to the list)

Try using CGCentral People Search to look up all SK1's xferring in AY2010. It'll pull up a list for you that you can xfer to a spreadsheet and you can sort and look through all SK1's who are tentatively scheduled to xfer next AY. Of course, this is not firm information as a lot changes on a daily basis.
Or you can just shoot me an email and I'll send you a copy...last name Polloi, only one in global.
Take care.

I do that every once in a while...this is more to learn about the positions and units you'd be going to instead of just the city and state.

Obviously, but you'll be waiting a while for folks to write you to tell you all about it. I just mentioned that because that's how I get names of people who are at units that I may be interested in and I make the first contact to ask about their unit tempo, their primary/collateral duties, duty status, yada yada yada. It's an idea, don't be afraid to approach persons at units that you are interested in because most of the time, that's how you figure things out, by going after the info yourself. SK1's out there have been very helpful when I call or shoot them emails inquiring about their responsibilities and experiences at their units, so don't be shy. It just makes you better informed by the time November hits and we start punching in billets into our dream sheet.
Think about it.

I agree with you 100%. how do you think you did on the May SWE?

It's all about the effort you put into it, get the list of SK1 billets and shoot emails out or make phone calls. They will most likely take the time out of their days to give you the info you need. Plus a lot of people dont use fredsplace either. Just my .02
