Okay, I've been working on 6.C.01, to perform an audit of unit files for compliance etc.

The reg I've found so far is in the FAR part 4.803 which gives an itemized list of minimum documentation.
I've looked at the SAP and the FRMM for a similar list of USCG specific criteria and I'm not seeing it. Either they don't spell it out as simply as they do in the FAR, or I'm just not seeing it in there. I'm not looking for an easy answer here, I'm just looking for a nudge in the right direction.

Also, would anyone be interested in participating in an online study group for making SK1? this would be a medium we could use for fielding questions and discussions about the pracs for SK1. Would anyone be interested in mentoring such a group?

I found the MLC compliance team check list to be valuable (MLC Compliance Inspection). I felt if they are the ones who conduct file inspections for the CG, they can't be too far off the mark.

Also check in the best practice's section on the MLC Compliance team website they might have something helpful on there.
