All advise/comments are welcome, especially from CPO Kalbach...... Smile

My husband's active duty SK3 due to hit high year tenure fall 2009. The rate's pretty tight & he always passes, he just can't seem to hit that advancement multiple... Getting out of the military is "preferably" not an option for us. Thought about cross rating, but the few rates available for E-4/E-5 conversion have high requirement for asvab...( He didn't do too hot on the asvab Wink Don't want to wait till the last minute to consider all our options... Thinking about going Coast Guard, is this an option?? Will he have to drop a rank? What does the process consist of? Is there an SK rate or something similar? I'm asuming he'll have to go to "pit stop", is this correct? Any advise would help!

Thanks!
