I'm doing some market research on finding a new brand of phone to replace the RAZR. The RAZR, in my humble opinion, was a sleek phone when it first came out, but sadly it was bought like in the civilian world, for the look and fad of it all. Well I'm looking for a more sturdier, tougher phone. Yes, I've heard and seen the NEXTELs and all, but does anyone know of a tough phone for AT&T/Cingular?
I got the LG Shine for at&t a few weeks ago. it is a heavy duty metal phone and I love it. I was running across the road the other day and it fell out of my pocket and I could net get it due to traffic and some SOB ran over it. It has some cosmetic demage but it took it like a champ and still works great, even after getting ran over by a car going about 40.
My work phone is LG (from Verizon), don't know the model but I know this is a tough phone. It's been dropped, stepped on, had stuff dropped on it, even under water for a few seconds and no damage at all.
The best part is it doesn't come with a phone bill.
I also think LG makes great phones! I have an LG Voyager through Verizon and it's sturdy, feature rich and just plain awesome! Stay far away from Motorola. If you're looking for a cheap phone, I've had good luck with Nokia's offerings in the past. They don't do much but I never had one break on me despite any/all punishment.
I also have an LG shine and love it i drop all the time it falls out of my pocket and like he said it got some scratches on it but thats about it. I would get one its a tough bastered
