I guess I will be the first to start this thread as we should start seeing orders for AY 08 Xfers. Anyone wishing to participate in posting when they get theirs and where they're going, post them here.

I'm real anxious to see mine. I'm three from the cut for SKC and am ready to see if I'm going to an E6 or E7 billet. Maybe they'll revise the cuts first.

I'm PRI 5 and I am willing to let you know when and where I'm going. The waiting kills me. This is my second independent duty job as an SK and I have only been in 5 years. I hope I get a Sector or anywhere that has an SK shop. I need the experience.

Nothing here yet, but our YN1, HSC, DC1 and an OS2 have already received orders for transfer year 08'. From the looks of direct access, it appears that our detailer is starting to cut orders. I think there used to be about 125 (counting all the quad postings) jobs listed in DA and now it's down to 114 jobs. A small sign that things are coming.

True, but it went from 128 to 125. Then from 125 to 112 and back up to 114 for SKC. I'm ready for two sets of orders to come through, one for me and one for my relief.

Also waiting on Revised Cuts. Just three away and hoping for an early Thanksgiving/Birthday present. We don't have CGMS working right now so if they come through someone please send them to xivjae@gmail.com.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and be sure to remember those who aren't able to enjoy a meal with their families this holiday.

I just checked again, and sure enough, it's back to 128. WTF?!?! lol!!

As for revised cuts, good luck, I expect that to take a while. Did you put in for E6 or E7 jobs?

I was advised by the detailer and the RFMC to do both E6 and E7 billets. Makes the waiting game a little more nerve racking.

Like they say, no news is good news. The billets I put in for are still there, so I'm still hopeful.

Down to 107. I copied them to a spreadsheet and deleted the doubles. I am such a geek.

Greetings,

I went throught this same drama last year.

I was two below the initial cut for SKC and was advised to put in for SKC billets (only, dut to not being tour complete for another AY cycle) and low and behold, nothing happend. The revisions did not come out last year until Feb and by then good 'ole Mr. Henderson was plum out of billets and told me to "expect" to cool my heels until next AY".... but just two or three short weeks later, the SKC billet came on line at Sector Buffalo and boy did my plans change.

The wife was a little ticked when I told her we were moving from sweet sunny Myrtle Beach, SC a year early to Buffalo, NY, especially when I had just told her we were staying another year two weeks prior, and it was all my doing because I went and placed above the cut for Chief.

And '07 was not a good year for anyone to transfer considering the housing market really blows right now. Anyone want to buy or rent a house in Garden City, SC?

But hey, the Lord works in mysterious ways.

I know he's busy and I know it's soon. I am tour complete this AY and have put in for E6 and E7 billets so the main reason I'm ansty is to see if I'm picking up SKC.

If your reading this Mr. Henderson please know that in no way do I expect your to immediately assign me. Especially if because you sned whiners somewhere they really don't want to go.
