Hi everyone. This will be my 1st time PCS-ing since basic/tech school. I am currently overseas and getting ready to go to Langley Va in July. I am planning on taking some leave in Europe (which has already been approved) and then going back to the states. I wanted to spend some time in the states with my parents before reporting to langley. Now here is the question, do i have to request more leave to do that or what? Some people have said No a long as I make it there before my RNLT some people have said I cant report at all until Im withing the month of my RNLT so I have to take leave until that month, some people say I need to go on leaveweb...no one seems to really know for sure. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Here's the math.

X = the number of days between the day you check out of tour losing duty station and report in to your gaining duty station.

Y = the number of travel days you'll be authorised.

Z = X - Y = the number of days of leave you'll be charge.

No leave web as far as I know as it's usually calculated based on when you fill out your travel voucher during inprocessing to your new unit.

By all means, report in BEFORE your RNLTD!!
