We are stationed in Darmstadt, Germany. My husband will be coming home from 15 months in Iraq in January and has asked me to do all of the planning for a vacation in February. I have no idea where to start so I thought that I would ask you all for some tips. We have two daughters, 5 and 3 so I need some ideas that they too would enjoy. We have been to the Edelweiss lodge during the summer months and I was thinking of doing a repeat performance since it will be a different season meaning different activities but I really wanted to surprise him with something different all-together. Here are the cons to it all: I don't really want to travel outside of Europe, we have never skied and skiing seems to be the thing to do during the winter, my husband does not have a passport so it would need to be somewhere where he doesn't need one, we have some money saved but would like to be frugal with it. SOOOO, on that note any ideas, tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much.
I would check with the travel office on base and see if they have any suggestions. Since your husband doesn't have a passport, you are going to be limited to Germany or the US.
Hi, I went Bibione last yesr. It is a good tourist place in Venetian coast. I was there the last time and got all things to enjoy. You can find many hotels and restaurants. . It provided me a very good service and I really enjoyed too my heart.
