You'd think so, wouldn't you?
At my base if you happen to be a military member or spouse coming in to get a new CAC card (common access card) they will not accept your military ID card as id. You must use your drivers license.
Stupid, huh?
I've seen the idiot at Badge and ID argue with a Navy Captain in uniform that he would only take the driver's license because the military ID "couldn't be verified".
Idiot is a mild term to use for this incredibly ignorant individual. His distaste for military members is readily apparent, but still someone let him have a little bit of authority over the whole thing.
If you happen to visit the next base over, you may use your military ID and no driver's license required, to get your CAC card so it's not policy anywhere but in this guy's little world.
Vegas is usually very hard on IDs. I know a lot of people who have not gotten into many clubs. However, you should try NOTreplyingto athread that is 2 years old..... They are usually a little bit easier on IDS than most.
