Hi everyone, I was planning a trip to Canada with my family. I don’t have much idea on that place and I am still preparing my plans to visit the country. I would like to know from the travelers as what are the paces I should be visiting there and any suggestions and advices would be welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Canada is a rather large county with the population centers in the west and east along the US border. It really depends on what side of the country you are looking at. In the east, the major places to visit are from Niagara to Quebec City, including Niagara Falls, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City. The driving distance is about 650 miles between those two points.

In the West you have the Canadian Rockies (Calgary being the major city) and Vancover and Victoria.

Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world, so if you want information then can you be more specific? Maybe when you are going, what you want, etc.. can help out.

If you are going in the summer go to the Calgary Stampede it is a great place to go and have a lot of fun. Go down through Lethbridge then turn towards the Rockies, drive through into British Columbia. The Okanagon is an incredible place especially for fruits. Continue through to Vancouver see some history and what it is doing for the Olympics next year. , ending your trip in Victoria. Or you can just spend the entire time on Vancouver Island, starting in Victoria and ending in Port Hardy, there is lots to see and do there.

Or go to the other side, see Nova Scotia, Cape Breton, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island. Go to where Anne of Green Gables was written and see a play about it, eating the ice cream. Look for Lobsters on PEI as well. Go to Nova Scotia and see incredible history for Alexander Graham Bell, the french fort on Cape Breton. The list can continue.

Canada is a great country and you could really enjoy yourself out there if you have got a well planned trip. Any trip needs to be well-planned if you want to enjoy it completely. The unspoiled beauty of Canada's wilderness has been the playground for adventurers and vacationers alike for generations. It's exactly the kind of natural majesty that continually has visitors returning north of the border. I would recommend a visit to Montreal from the cities there as that is quite a good one. One more thing that I would advice would be getting a good accommodation there prior to your visit, as you would not be in trouble later. You can check out Edited: to removed link..
