Does anyone know where I can stay at in San Diego for a couple nights. I am flying out to visit with my sister and we would like to take a one day trip to San Diego and trying to figue out a place to stay. Would like to get a place close to the beach, and I am a militarty member. Any info would be greatly appreicated.

Any of the Navy locations there are potential locations.

Best place to stay at the beach is Navy Lodge North Island. You are on the same beach(mile down) as the famous Hotel del Coranado! It's tough to get a reservation, if not try the Navy Gateway Inns and Suites on the same base.
