Open discrimination and intolerance of others, I hope someone sues them big time, and it should be against the law everywhere, equal to that of any other HATE CRIME or form of DISCRIMINATION!

Yeah it seems STUPID for Columbia to boot any form of military off the campus but then INVITE someone who wants to see the fall of America and the complete destruction of Isreal. I wonder if the President of columbia knows that if it was up ahmadinejad there would be no columbia.

The problem with that is that he is there to speak in front of the UN. If we arrested him what kind of message would that send to any other leaders coming to speak? |

So I don't know where he [Osama bin Laden] is. You know, I just don't spend that much time on him, Kelly, to be honest with you. * White House press conference, March 13, 2002 Who said that? "Never try to teach a pig to sing; It wastes your time and annoys the pig." - Heinlein |

Wow the libs now have their priorities straight, invite the enmemy but shun the military force that gives them peace and their rights to do what they want. That is biting the hand that feeds you. I would never send my kids to a college that does not support the military.

The president made a statement on the news today saying something along the lines of as a univeristy we should be open to other peoples view points even if we dont like them. Soooo what about military view points? At least our military doesnt spew hatred toward none muslums. |

that is totally different. I have no problem of listening to someone you don't like example Reid or Clinton but when you invite a person who is bent of the destruction of Israel, the US and any of the allies who support Israel and is arming the insurgents and sending personnel to Iraq that is totally different. It should only be allowed to address the UN (now that is a different subject) and thats it. It was wonderful to hear that he CANNOT visit Ground Zero or as I call Ground Hero. |

wish that little piece of **** would come out to my place and speak. I'd let him talk.....................about 1 second.
He's a coward and a terrorist. And anybody who protects him is the same. |

The invitation to speak is apalling, especially given past treatment of American conservatives who dare speak on that campus.
Fly him in, let his talk to the UN, then hustle his war-mongering, racist *** back to his hole. We don't have to treat that slime like a legitimate head of state. Woody Allen once said that any man who makes a pun should be 'drawn and quoted.' |

Then tell Columbia if they wish to continue receiving Federal funds the ROTC and military recruiters will be welcomed on campus and given the same courtesy as all other groups are. |

It would seem the alumni need to start retracting their support of the school as well; I am fairly certain that there are many alumni out there who are veterans and so on and would NOT be happy to learn of these developments with the school leadership.
That's what Columbine, err, I mean Columbia, needs - leadership change and some funding redirection... Perhaps that will get them back on the straight and narrow... |

Thirty years of bombings, kidnappings, and death to America. Send him over to our side of town to speak! |

Giving a terrorist as well as someone who has made it very clear he is our enemy the right to speak at a major university is outrageous. You are giving him a photo shot to take back to his people and fellow Islamic terrorists. As far as Hitler he was not our enemy when he came here or at least he didn't call himself that openly over and over. |
