His policies and rational interpretation of his behavior are and should be perfectly fair game. We heard the scientifically unfounded crap about Bush's intelligence, based on the interpretation of posers, er. . . . posters, about his behavior. Those comments were not then deleted. When someone who is supposed to represent us, who is supposed to be obedient to our needs, instead appears to be on an ego trip, saying so is not inappropriate commentary. There is evidence of it, and it significantly affects how effective his representation of the nation will be. Different opinions? Sure. But viewing Obama's behavior favorably, interpreting it favorably, does not mean such opinions are any more correct than what many of us see and rationally believe to be harmful behavior.

Comments re: OBNA assumming control of our very beings. Well, not so.
Yesterday we had NSA Mfs Fireworks, lots of riverside BBQ, and never once mentioned OBNA. It was refreshing.
There is an old Aesop story, about the Emperors clothes, recall that? Folks were conned into believing the Emp had a new robe, none dared to speak the truth, IE: the Emp was naked. We can take a lesson here.
OBNA has indeed upset our USA life style. We indeed are getting buyers' remorse. We indeed are seeing the Emp w/o his facade. Now, do we keep silent, do we further the false idea, do we continue to keep our eyes averted, or do we say "Look there, OBNA is indeed w/o substance, etc."!!
We have adequate historical lessons here. The 1930s European stage was full of averted eyes. The entire African Post Colonial era of the 70's was eyes averted. Even in SA during the Sandistas days, eyes were averted. We, you and I, tend to look away, rather than face reality.
OK, nuff said. What to do.
1. Your Dem Reps and Your GOP Reps have the only leverage available to effect control or stop blatant irresponsible changes. CALL< WRITE< POUND ON DESKS< MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD...
2. Your local reps, local pols, local community organizations have the power, over the USA, to effect changes. MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD.
3. THIS SITE and others, reach untold millions. You have no idea who reads your opines. MAKE YOUR OPINES AND VOICE HEARD. It will stem and eventually turn the tide.
We will survive. The average USA Electorate folks have "gotten the message". They know. The simple fact is, that the time is coming for the reversal of this semmingly endless "take over"!

TennSlim I wish what you said was true that the "average Joe" now has the scoop on what is happening in the US political and economic capitol... I guess those thoughts make you feel better? Your approach is exactly what Tom Jefferson would say in a similar situation but to be in the situation to say it it followed the Revolutionary War, you might recall?

Hopefully grassroots democracy will resurrect the nation as it should and could if we were not in the postion of having a foot on our necks left by the huge US Treasury giveaway and the relincquishing of our freedoms and voice.
