Not so much like a cheerleading session townhall meeting on the Iraq war at a VFW where the really tough questions get asked.

Shame about that easing thing. We need to stop demonizing and regulating great Americans like the traders at the AIG Financial Producst division--they'll do right by the American People all by themselves, right?

These same arguments, made by the Bush administration, were rejected twice by a federal judge. The visitor logs are created by the Secret Service and maintained by the Secret Service, U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth ruled in 2007 and again this January. CREW had requested records of visits to the Bush White House, as well as the residence of Vice President Dick Cheney, by leaders of Religious Right organizations.

The Bush administration appealed Lamberth's decision, and the Obama administration has continued to press that appeal.

"It is the government's position," the Secret Service wrote last week to msnbc.com in denying access to the visitor logs, "that the vast majority, if not all, of the records ... are not agency records subject to the FOIA. Rather, these records are records governed by the Presidential Records Act" and "remain under the exclusive legal custody and control of the White Office and the Office of the Vice President. After the resolution of this litigation, we will respond further to your request if necessary."

If you're not going to offer a point or a counter point...

you're just taking up space.

Yep, he does appear in all of the media far too much. It is reminiscent of all totalitarian regimes; North Korea, Venezuela, etc. Yet, there is no real information to be found in these media displays. That is the point. When we want real transparency, it is nowhere to be found. Instead, we get a speech of BS and constant pictures of the man. That is the stuff of a cult of personality.

that pretty much hit the nail on the head... the man is drunk on the power/celebrity status bigtime, and within the year it is going to bite him and he can't even see it coming... and his followers are just that - sheep on the bandwagon. Just watch how fast they unload.

I may be wrong, and if so I will be the first to "own-up" but this man is destroying our country.

right click on the image and select properties from the menu. You will see the linked source URL. You can copy/paste the URL into your browser URL address bar and show it.

You can also select "Save Image As" from the same menu and save it to your computer. Open it with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, or a browser, or put it in a PowerPoint slide using copy/paste or Insert Picture and use PowerPoint to project it on your classroom whiteboard.

Oh boy! More government! Solutions? Probably not.
But Oh boy! More government!

The government reaching into my pocket doesn't feel nuts. They have busted my pockets and are reaching into my socks! Everything the gov does costs something, solutions or not. And we will pay...

I don't expect any good results out of additional government intervention.

I don't know about Skin, but I wasn't talking about you. Having a problem with President Obama's policies is perfectly okay. I've got problems with lots of his policies. Spirited debate about his policies is not the problem...

I totally agree 100%. I have NEVER seen any President get soooo much media coverage. Unless it was a dictater.

Spirited debate, god I hate that line right out of the WH talking points

And when that spirited debate happens, the counter is haters, partisan, bashing, racist, extremist and on and on....

"Da massiah" has done more to subvert/destroy this Nation in his term so far than all the subversives and enemies in war throughout the history of this country. The really scary thing about it is the idiot sheeple that put him in office are too blind or too stupid to see it.
