The EPA continues to be a road block for a C.O.E. project that would help control flooding on 4,093 sq. miles. This project has been dealing with the EPA for over 60 years now. It's claim is that the project would have negative effects on wetland ecology and wildlife. Just where are the land dwellers going to go when you have that many sq. miles flooded? Never mind those affected in the name of flood control.
