You can go ahead and walk me and it is not going to change anything. This is not your high school debate class so there are no grades. We are a bunch of old military folks bantering about things we have little control of.

As for the ag bill, it is status quo. that is how Washington works. I would love nothing better than to throw them all out, and start fresh. Still I lean toward Obama because he is new and and may not be as tainted as all the rest. Fact is we spend too much and save too little and that will be our downfall....not the crap going on in the middle east.

Instead of giving someone a handout.....give them a packet of seeds and tell them to get to work.

I'm retired on a limited income......yet the politicians and other's have designs on what I've worked hard for all my life to earn.

The world don't owe you s-hit, Jack! You owe it to yourself to earn and provide for your family.

Give a man a fish and he can survive for a day.........teach a man to fish and he trys to steal your tackle box!

You are so right, my friend. The control freaks, the "never saw another man's money they didn't want to control facists," will twist these words of wisdom, self-righteously and indignantly claiming that this is "cruel" or "selfish" (never mind that conservatives have been shown to be more generous in donating to charities a larger portion of each dollar they make). What the socialists refuse to accept (they'd rather do harm than admit they are wrong) is that their perverse, immoral policies encourage more and more bad behavior. Leftist insecurities and lack of real respect for individual dignity--e.g., understanding people can, indeed, do more for themselves, because their capacities are greater than demagogue, condescending collectivists want them to realize (or the polytishuns' constituencies and easy re-elections are compromised)--ultimately harms us all.

So kind of you to denounce those that endeavor to protect us from the second coming of the robber baron collective that does indeed have a greater philanthropic mentality, simply because they have it all and can do whatever they choose with it. Of course they got it all off the backs of us hardworking "middle class" Americans who failed to fight back against the raping of our financial security.

But that ain't what they do...they'd rather tax the s-hit out of the middle class earner and those that are retired and still have some savings left.

Where does Obama plan on getting the money from?? Can't be from the rich because they don't make enough to Fund everyone.

Therefore one can logically conclude it will come from the Middle Class.

So much for his "Tax Cut" on the Middle Class.

Lies, all lies.
