Over and over on threads I see comments from the left wing liberals that say we need to change direction, get out, pay for something...on and on... It's either about the war, economy, healthcare, immigration, etc...
Almost everytime I see a question from a conservative about these things, the liberal responses are (not all) typically a smart a$$ comeback with an insult on the persons intelligence, but rarely is there an answer. So here you go libs, here's your shot. If you're a proud liberal, let us know what you would do about the screwed up country. You know the war, economy, oil, people like me, healthcare, the constitution, guns, crime,Bush, gays, abortion, etc... PICK YOUR POISON. 10 bucks says when others read your posts, your Socialism is going to be the scum on the top of the pond.  |

If we are lucky, this move toward the left is going to balance out the damage from our country suffered from incompetent leadership from the far right we have been forced to endure for the past 15 years, which should take us back closer to the center where it belongs...

Besides, others make recomendations over and over but you make believe that nothing has been said because it doesn't fit your agenda. (And there IS no help for "people like you" You are so rooted in your ideology like a tick in a bores butt. The only solution for folks that committed and inflexable is to pass away and get a new life. You're certainly welcome to enjoy what is left of yours. (BTW, your very agressive tone and stance above is a clear indication that you're not really interested in an alternative view, but simply want to push your own agenda or demean and invalidate another group. you COULD have said: "let us reason together my brothers, no matter WHAT your political leanings are and see if we can come up with a good solution". There is in THIS case a bit of personality involved I admit. But then again, I didn't start this post, but merely responded to it. the main core of my intent was to address postings (this was just the one in my face) that had only the intent to attack and spew ones spleen, while trying to hide behind truth seeking. It is actually a kind of lying as there was an attempt to cloak it under the false front of "truth seeking". IF you WANT to spew venom, I have no problem with that. Just don't try and cloak it under a false front. At least be honest about it. I can deal with an honest man, even one who is full of hatred and bile, but the liar who wion't be pinned down or hides behind something else, asks to be challenged. |

This administrations likes to talk about how "we're an empire and when we act we create our own reality" and the reality they've created is one where the number of terrorist attacks worldwide has quadrupled, we went from surpluses under Clinton to deficits as far as the eye can see, 7 years have passed and we're no closer to easing our dependence on foreign oil, scientists in NASA and NOAA are censored by political hacks with no training who rewrite scientific reports to make the administration look good, Arabian Horse lawyers and other cronies with no experience run emergency management and homeland security... Had enough? I have. Time for a change. Time for competence. |

Obviously you libs don't really care about these issues. The only thing you care about is attacking anybody who doesn't think your way. These issues are talking points for you so you can reject anything the President or any Republican are for or against, depending on your agenda that day. |

Well, you are partially correct...it is my opinion, but it was on where I believe the country is heading and why... Heh, a while back, the "silent" majority were those who opposed neoconservatism and allowed the country to get into the mess we are in today...so now the neocons get to dance to that tune...It is the American way...live with it until it cycles back around or leave it.  And, I am getting bored with all these bible thumpers trying to shame me into worshiping their gods by tying it to patriotism...that too will cycle around and return to normal and I guess you will, "b**ch," about that also...  |

The current Dems and competence? Never happen. I would much rather have someone that is learning how to deal with something and being consistent in trying to solve it, than someone who changes every time a poll says something negative. To be honest, I don't like either the far left (which is currently running the Dem party) or the far right sides of the spectrum. Independent or Libertarian is starting to look appealing. It is past time for the moderates to retake the country.

Sorry Comingo. I quit listening to Bush (and most Republicans) quite awhile back. Too much trouble to pick out the bull from the shi*. Have they said anything truthful lately or even of modest significance? As far as I can tell, the only issue is when will they leave office and how many can we throw out. At THAT point, perhaps we can have some constructive honest and open dialog again. Until then, the best thing I see is to mark time and build the framework to throw the rest of that crew out on their collective butts. OH and they don';t have to "think my way" they only have to THINK at all! That would be a refreshing thing...(And I said THINK, NOT scheme) |

Now go dig out some history books and show where NORMAL doesn't or hasn't included religion, with the exception of the last 50 years!!! You were actually asked for your thoughts on how to make a change and each of you have only shot back with insults either to the poster or the Administration. So come on with it already. I will not knowingly set myself up to be ambushed by someone dancing around issues under the guise of discussing a number of hot issues bundled up like this. Like I have said...repeatedly...open a separate topic on each of these issues you have listed, or bundle some of them with the question on how this administration has handled them and you are on...I'll go for it...otherwise quit whining. I am not going to try to pin you down to discuss drugs and crime or education while you dance away to another totally unrelated issue and avoid the discussion....which is exactly what you are trying to do, IMO.
