Yeah. Again and again. We all know that the current mess is a result of what's happened since the inauguration on Jan 20th turned everything from golden hearts and flowers to a hickey on a hemmorhoid. How could everything have gone so far from the Utopia of the Dubya years in five short months? I'm sure you'll have an answer, t*. Now go a-way or I shall taunt you a second time! |

So this is the thread where Obama can get blamed for 8 years of a tax-cut-and-record-spend economy, while asking why hasn't he fixed the everything in 6 months.
Then, in another thread, we can attack Obama for bailing out automakers, because damn the President if he's willing to save those jobs, but not create new ones. Then, in thread #3, we can blame the stimulus for record spending, even though we'll concede it'll create new jobs. In the fourth thread we can we'll complain about how this President has spent more than any other President in history with his first year budget, all the while ignoring the fact that his budget must include two wars, a 700 billion dollar bank bailout, and national disaster funding, neither of which happened on his watch but was included in his budget unlike our previous President who hid costs to justify record tax cuts. Finally, we'll discuss the legitimacy of this Presidency because as Foxnews suggests, he was born to a Estonian Mother and a Chilean father somewhere in Seoul, and not really an American. |

Beat you to it, but let me say it again: W and the republican controlled congress screwed the pooch. The economy has been in a free fall since the subprime meltdown almost two years ago. |

His policies are taking effect right now. It is a bit tough to understand how this is but here goes... If it is good news then it is all due to Pres Obama. If it is bad...well...you know the rest of the story. I am absolutely amazed how precise this all works out. Well...gotta get back to work...on my lead to gold machine...in my basement... |

Wait a minute. The subprime explosion and the explosion in energy prices both occured under a democrat controlled congress. Least you forget they took power in Jan 07. |

Unlike Dubya's policies which are bearing I guess the Republicans are better at getting things done quicker!  I know, it's an evil plan by the Republicans. They set the stage for major meltdowns and right before the schitt hits the fan they "let" the Dems get control so they can point and say "Hey, we weren't in charge when all this happened!" But don't let little things like facts stop you from blaming whomever you want to blame. Like it's all O's fault for what's happening now but it's all Clinton's fault for what happened while Dubya was in charge. Nice try, but "you are an no-go at this station!" |
