This is really cool! Imagine getting all these people together to pull this off. What would you do if you saw this?

When I say "knock it off"
I mean "knock it off".

I could probably do the tying shoelace one, blink discretely. The worker on his two-way radio was great!

Having spent the major portion of my life in that city nothing surprises me. I would just walk on by never giving it a thought.

I once even saw on a subway train a Chimp dressed like an old lady with a veil over its head sitting next to an empty group of seats on a crowded train. screeching and eating a bag of tomatoes. People were giving it a wide berth thinking it was a weirdo. I just took an empty seat and read my paper while it screeched away eating tomatoes under the veil.

Wish they would try that in somewhere like Fort Worth or Houston even San Antonio as there would likely be a totally different reaction.

Would people where you live also walk by people in trouble or say having a heart attack?

No not at all. New Yorkers are the fist to help someone in distress or need. They just tend to mind thier own business when it comes to weirdos
And Hucksters. It happens so often its like an expected way of life. Trouble comes fast enough and they tend to mind thier own business. It's usually the visitors who get caught up in the scams and oddities which are everyday occurences. Distractions equate to pickpockets or scams.

Most of the positions held are ones that would not be stable during a heart attack or other emergency. They would have fallen to the ground or at least dropped the raised arms.

That leaves s SciFi freeze ray or an organized voluntary event.

I would probably have looked at one of them for a minute or so, checking for blinks, breathing and pulse. then gone on my way.

Great idea. Too bad you can only do these things once Big Grin
