I've been around the internet a very long time, and I have come to notice some things, even for myself at times...

But, the problem is this...

Why is it so hard for people to own up to things that they say or do?

Just look at TV on a regular basis. Guilty as sin people spending our tax dollars going through a court case in which they know they are going to lose. An example is Scott Peterson or Christian Longo. Both are guilty. We know it, they know we know it, but why do they believe that they can get away with what they did?

I have always fully accepted responsibility for my actions, and will continue to do so.

But, there are so many people out there who absolutely refuse through denial to accept any kind of responsibility. Not calling anyone out with this next statement, but there are some here even in these forums.

We need to realize that we are as fallible as the next person.

But, why is it so hard?

As long as there are STUPID gullible people around to belive the lies, or too damn lazy to do anything about it....they will continue to LAUGH at YOU.

When you say gutter, does that mean if youve ever been so drunk you

To the topic:It's more difficult to own up to an error of deed,or speech.I suppose because they will be seen as a bad person or some other reason.
I am no saint, but I've alway's felt better in the long run afterward.Owning up that is.

How many people here will own up to their own mistakes?

Just a curious question.

Just seems people are more into finger pointing and blaming others for their own faults and fallacies. But, that could just be me?

Mistakes? That is a large area to speak of, SDL. Compress that a little so people understand what you are asking for a little better.

I was talking about insulting people, or just flat out doing the wrong thing even though you thought it the right thing to do type of stuff.

Like O.J. 'Simpleton'.? I used to like that guy when he did the Hertz commercials when i was a kid. That a$$wipe even published a book saying how he 'did it' knowing he could not be tried again. To get MONEY. He's a freakin murderer who does not care.

No, I was being friendly. Basically, I was saying to get his head out of the gutter. But, trust me, I have been quite plastered. I usually make sure that I have one foot on the floor (helps to stop the spinning).

Oh wait! Were you around last Sunday? Man, I was freaking wasted. SeargentGreen and I were on a troll-thread rampage. I cannot even decipher our posts, we were talking complete jiberish. But, it was fun as hell. Oddly, I believe Green was stone-cold sober. But, he is a funny F-er. Smile

He and RM444 have some of the best senses of humor here. Really good dudes.

Have a profile, chump. To me, YOU are a troll. And she's no diva. She is a girl. A child when compared to others.

I would expect nothing less of you Armycop. Ok, I'll turn on my profile for an hour (just to appease you).

Those that come from the SONAR and Navy community know I am legit. To be honest, I think that many people here know that I am legit.

But, profile on. 1112 Zulu.

To be completely honest, though. I do not think that anything I have ever said here could be classified as "troll" behavior. Anyhow, you can now savor my name and awards in all of their glory. At least until 08MAR2008 1212 Zulu. Wink

Oh, well. Sorry armycop91. You missed out. Now, I don't want to hear any bichting later. I actually used my birth-given name. I don't do that very often at all. My true birth name!!!! In my business, I never do that.

So, I gave you and everybody else to know who I am for one hour. But, now that is closed due to personal and web-security measures. If you weren't around, that is YOUR problem, not mine. So, get along little doggie. Wink
