Thanks, SSgt, I think. I just now registered but it looks like it may take some time to get acquainted. I like the idea of doing SOMETHING. I receive an average of 2/day. Those alledging to be from MSN, Ebay or Yahoo! (for instance) I report to their own fraud dept but they just keep coming.

I registered before I even read the next post from KJ1110 with his suggested forward email addy. I may do both. I could not learn who hosts/sponsors the 419eaters site but I didn't see any threats in the info required to register. I did notice the time on their site was 4 hrs later than my EDST, makes me wonder what's up there. I'll see.

The more things change the more they remain the same. Since I never learned the Swahili term for "shameless scam", I'm sure I don't know the Arabic or Chinese versions....

Looked into this a little closer. Might be OK if you want to scam the scamer, play them some, could be fun but not really my thing. I want to send my junk on to somewhere that might actually be able to bring heat on the scammers.

Now, KJ1110, you gave us an email addy but it's just an email address. I'd like to know a little about them but my online search resulted in nada. KJ, you got anthing more on this? I got another pitch today, like this:

Thank you, sir (Ma'am? pardon, Kim can be either). I just added that link/site to my fav's. It'll probably get a lot of contributions, after I check them out. I love the Aussies.

Been doin Ebay for years and have forwarded them a number of fraud emails from Ebay posers. No matter how I do it (cut&paste, forward) Ebay has always responded with "thank you but we need the WHOLE THING, headers and all..." (paraphrased). I doubt it would be of any benefit anyway.

I've even gotten some from people pretending to be soldiers stationed in Iraq. I wonder what leads people to fall for a scam like that.

Neither! I work for a living! Wink

Beyond that, I'm male, as my profile indicates; during my time, there were no WM's in Line Companies (I gather there are now?)

But you're welcome!
