Well, that is fine. We all are entitled an opinion as to who we like or don't. I stick to the rest of the statement though.

Nothing to do with 9/11? Nothing except funding terrorist, providing training space, providing/selling weapons, chemicals, etc., that cost several thousand American lives. Frown

I agree the terrorists don't deserve our forgiveness. Mad

It seems the United States Senate and the CIA see it the same way I do.

Senate investigation finds no Iraq/al Qaeda link EITHER.

Judge too soon and you could fall prey to propaganda. Or deliberate misstatement.

I absolutely agree with the --Judge too soon statement, There is nothing difinitive on that photo except the word inserts. No proof that that is what you are really seeing. No latitude or longitude readings to indicate where that is located or what its real purpose maybe. To accept this as some kind of proof is like accepting the phoney story the government put out on the 911 propaganda. The very fact that they refused to treat it as a crime scene and then refused to appoint a commission to investigate it untill pressured to do so which gave them time (400 days) to destroy all the evidence and place individuals of the (one bullet Arlen Spector) type on the panel to ensure the truth did not come out--just as was done in the Kennedy asassination is sufficient cause to suspect an inside job which of course it was. There is far more evidence pointing in that direction then there is pointing to inept Arab hijackers. Never forget 911 but never forget to confirm who the true enemy is. ET

There you go, confusing the issue with truth and facts, Surely you have read enough of these posts to realize that most do not need any proof to expound their views. These are the same people that keep ranting against the so called Hijackers of 911. They need no proof. They heard about it on Television. The government told them who did it. They need no further proof. Now that they know that Saddam had no ties to Al Qaeda I will bet you will continue to see that garbage claiming that he did. ET

I will never forget. Every morning when I go to work there is a reminder of why we must not forget and why we must stay the course. There is no other option but victory.

Some would like to sue for a temporary peace, playing right into their hands, hold dialogs with the terrorists which is contrary to U.S. policy and just plain stupid.

And by the way, reports or investigations can have flaws and be politically biased.

Frown And my customer, whos house I was at that morning, her daughter was in one of the towers. Frown Frown No, I'll never forget. And I won't forget why we're fighting these POS neither. Forgive me, but kill them all. And the sooner the better. Sorry. I'm just really upset right now.

Too many have forgotten the reason we are in this fight.

Kinda like the song "Have You Forgotten?"
(Darryl Worley/Wynn Varble)

I hear people saying we don't need this war
I say there's some things worth fighting for
What about our freedom and this piece of ground
We didn't get to keep 'em by backing down
They say we don't realize the mess we're getting in
Before you start your preaching let me ask you this my friend
Have you forgotten how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside going thru a living hell
And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout bin Laden
Have you forgotten?

They took all the footage off my T.V.
Said it's too disturbing for you and me
It'll just breed anger that's what the experts say
If it was up to me I'd show it everyday
Some say this country's just out looking for a fight
After 9/11 man I'd have to say that's right

Have you forgotten how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside going thru a living hell
And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout bin Laden
Have you forgotten?

I've been there with the soldiers
Who've gone away to war
And you can bet that they remember
Just what they're fighting for

Have you forgotten how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside going thru a living hell
And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout bin Laden
Have you forgotten?

Have you forgotten all the people killed?
Some went down like heros in that Pennsylvania field
Have you forgotten about our Pentagon?
All the loved ones that we lost and those left to carry on
Don't you tell me not to worry about bin Laden
Have you forgotten?

Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten?

WARNING! This is very disturbing and could be considered inflamatory. It is 12 minutes long. I don't neccessarily agree with the whole thing. I know that statements taken out of context can be misleading but most of you are mature enough to watch this with that in mind.

Yes, Indeed this is disturbing. It is difficult to see so much hate and so much will and energy to take down America and any other religion besides the Muslim and Islam and to say that it is in the Name of God.

What is even more disturbing is the fact that we have helped these countries...one after the other with our support (troops) our money and yes our government has shielded them from on another...

I would say that sends a signal to America that they do not want our help or occupation unless it is convenient for them to fight amongst each other.

Americans and people all over the world will never forget 9/11.

The people that died that day were like you and I. Working people of different classes going on about their business.

They did not deserve what happened to them that day and neither did their families deserve the lose of loved ones and friends.

What is sad is that it will Also always be remembered as the reason that America went to War on Terror in the wrong country, as many see it, both here and overseas.

What would the American's do if a faction stepped onto our ground and tried to change our learned way of life? What did we do during our own civil war?

Perhaps the same thing is happening over there? They do not want intervention by us or anybody else.

WE have helped to save one of the 55 countries that want our distruction and managed to anger more of them and more Americans as well.

I as an American have always believed that is what America stands for...Freedom and Independent governments....BUT I do not believe this should be a forced policy, nor do I think we should build a country to eventually fight us out of hatred of the loss of their lives their innocent loved ones and their way of living.

In the Countries in question...? They have been fighting each other for over 2000 years and America cannot stop that..nor is it our business to.

911 was Al Quaeda and has now served to be a reason for us to fight the GWOT all over the world and yet we still do not and have not progressed in the area that we wish to achieve.

Do you honestly believe the everyday people like you or I would want us to destroy another country on their behalf? Cause more innocent deaths and more American lives...Especially when it is not Osama that we have conquered...the man behind their deaths and loss? I do not personally think that there would be many that would be praising us for being in Iraq.

You can say Well that ISN"T the reason we went there ...BS..WE were an angry people....we wanted revenge..Our government, our people and our President wanted revenge and Saddam was the best target at the time. We were choppin at the bits...Both sides of the aisle.

Now I can only think of what one Great President said...Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether this Nation or ANY Nation can so long endure. Lincoln was referring to our own civil war and we certainly did not want nor need interference from another country.

WE fought it and we came out United. Now THEY have to fight their civil war and come out United in their OWN way. WE got rid of the Dictator and the damaging arms and poisons around them. If they want Freedom enough...They will fight for it. I believe out Heroes have done their jobs and the people of 911 would be proud of them for it and amongst those very everyday people, there would be condescension over staying in Iraq and doing anymore...

GoD Bless Our Troops and our Country.

It may take you two minutes to read this, but if you do not take the time to read this you are one of the people this post is talking about.

You stay up for 16 hours

He stays up for days on end.
_________________________

You take a warm shower to help you wake up.

He goes days or weeks without running water.
__________________________

You complain of a "headache", and call in sick.

He gets shot at as others are hit, and keeps moving forward.
__________________________

You put on your anti war/don't support the troops shirt, and go meet up with your friends.

He still fights for your right to wear that shirt.
__________________________

You make sure you're cell phone is in your pocket.

He clutches the cross hanging on his chain next to his dog tags.
__________________________

You talk trash about your "buddies" that aren't with you.

He knows he may not see some of his buddies again.
__________________________

You walk down the beach, staring at all the pretty girls.

He patrols the streets, searching for insurgents and terrorists.
_________________________

You complain about how hot it is.

He wears his heavy gear, not daring to take off his helmet to wipe his brow.
__________________________

You go out to lunch, and complain because the restaurant got your order wrong.

He doesn't get to eat today.
__________________________

Your maid makes your bed and washes your clothes.

He wears the same things for weeks, but makes sure his weapons are clean.
__________________________

You go to the mall and get your hair redone.

He doesn't have time to brush his teeth today.
__________________________

You're angry because your class ran 5 minutes over.

He's told he will be held over an extra 2 months.
__________________________

You call your girlfriend and set a date for tonight.

He waits for the mail to see if there is a letter from home.
__________________________

You hug and kiss your girlfriend, like you do everyday.

He holds his letter close and smells his love's perfume.
__________________________

You roll your eyes as a baby cries.

He gets a letter with pictures of his new child, and wonders if they'll ever meet
__________________________

You criticize your government, and say that war never solves anything.

He sees the innocent tortured and killed by their own people and remembers why he is fighting.
__________________________

You hear the jokes about the war, and make fun of men like him.

He hears the gunfire, bombs and screams of the wounded.
__________________________

You see only what the media wants you to see.

He sees the broken bodies lying around him.
__________________________

You are asked to go to the store by your parents. You don't.

He does exactly what he is told.
__________________________

You stay at home and watch TV.

He takes whatever time he is given to call, write home, sleep, and eat.
__________________________

You crawl into your soft bed, with down pillows, and get comfortable.

He tries to sleep but gets woken by mortars and helicopters all night long.
__________________________

You sit there and judge him, saying the world is probably a worse place because of men like him.

If only there were more men like him.
