Here we post to the fallen heroes who have given their lives, their sacred honor for their country. In their memories, we testify to the greatest sacrifice one can make for a grateful Nation.

CAPT - O3 - Air Force - Regular Length of service 4 years His tour began on Sep 17, 1967 Casualty was on Apr 1, 1968 In BINH DUONG, SOUTH VIETNAM HOSTILE, FIXED WING - PILOT AIR LOSS, CRASH ON LAND Body was recovered This is the information from The Wall. The other information is that he was an AF Academy Grad, with graduate study at MIT and wanted to qualify for the astronaut program. Instead, he was shot down by AK-47 ground fire. He was a super guy to all of us lowly enlisted folks and would pull up a chair, pop a beer and chat like old buddies. Not forgotten. There are many who served bravely. My MACVII bretheren, and those 3100 in Iraq and those in Afghanistan.
Since Nam to now there have been many other hot spots, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Columbia, Nicaragua, Panama, Granada, Somolia, and others where we have left our brothers and sisters! They will not be forgotten or left behind! |
