Hamas Rejects Latest Israeli Prisoner Swap Deal for Shalit
by Hana Levi Julian (IsraelNN.com) The Hamas terrorist organization has reportedly rejected another proposed prisoner swap deal by Israel for the release of kidnapped IDF Cpl. Gilad Shalit. According to the Arabic Al-Hayat daily newspaper, Hamas turned down Israel's offer to free hundreds of Palestinian Authority terrorists, many of whom had "blood on their hands", in exchange for the captive soldier. Government envoy Ofer Dekel, who is in charge of soldiers who are missing in action, presented the terrorist group with a list of 450 PA prisoners Israel was willing to include in a deal. Israel also proposed adding several other new elements in the deal, including a specific timeline for the negotiations and establishing Hamas as the sole responsible party for the kidnapped soldier. In addition, Israel has demanded a diplomatic binder which would force Hamas to continue talks even if Israel is attacked and responds. Hamas, meanwhile, has demanded that Israel release 1,000 terrorists. Among them is Fatah Tanzim arch-terrorist Marwan Barghouti, sentenced to five consecutive sentences of life in prison for murdering Israeli civilians, Jews and a Christian monk, in terrorist attacks during the Oslo War. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/126665 "Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain." There's no negotiating with these animals. Israel just needs to get in there and get their boy back.
It won't be long, folks: It'll be the entire Middle East against a US/Israel coalition. These extremists HAVE to be dealt with. No amount of wheeling and dealing over fine china cups filled with tea in lavish offices is going to produce anything. Even if Israel DID succumb to their demands and release the 1k terrorists, Hamas will just saw the captain's head off, anyway. These people cannot be reasoned with. They understand only swift violence. Enough skulking around fears of political disapproval. Get your butts in there and retrieve your man. |

What the Israelis need to understand is that Shalit is dead--the most they will get back is his corpse. And if and when they do get it back then they can return their Hamasistani prisoners--as room-temperature chunks of meat, every single last damned one of them. With a message that that was only the first installment of a payment the azzhats in Ramallah and Gaza will live to regret--but not for very long. Israel needs to retire that nitwit Olmert and find a real leader--one ready to let slip the dogs of war. They're hungry, and ululating primitive thug is on the menu....

More bad news from Israel...
Cabinet Approves Hizbullah Prisoner Swap by Hillel Fendel (IsraelNN.com) PM Ehud Olmert's cabinet voted 22-3 to approve the proposed exchange of five Hizbullah terrorists for kidnapped IDF reservists Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser, who Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said are probably dead. Although the families of the two abducted soldiers were promised entry to the meeting before the vote, they only met with the PM after the cabinet meeting. The three cabinet ministers voting against the deal were Ze'ev Boim, Roni Bar-On and Daniel Friedmann. The proposed deal involves the release of five Hizbullah prisoners from Israeli prison and ten Hizbullah corpses, for the two IDF reservists. The two abducted soldiers have long been assumed to be dead, but now Prime Minister Olmert has all but confirmed this. Among the five Hizbullah prisoners is Samir Kuntar, who not only murdered three Israelis and caused the death of a fourth - members of the Haran family and a policeman - but is also considered Israel's final hope of ever receiving information on captured IAF navigator Ron Arad. Arad was captured after his plane was felled over Lebanon in 1986 and was held by various terrorist groups; he was ultimately probably taken to Iran, and his whereabouts have been unknown for years. The exchange is expected to take place within ten days, after President Shimon Peres signs a pardon for Kuntar. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/126661 Israel trades five known Hizbollah terrorists for the remains of two IDF soldiers? Olmert has GOT to go! |

really foolish deal....dead bodies for live terrorists....Olmert has really out did himself this time. This whole concept of the sanctity of dead body has really gotten out of hand....its time for one of our ex IDF combat officers to take the reign of the govt....they seem to have a better idea of how to run a country in time of war....
