I remember as a youth seeing others wearing t-shirts that said "I'd rather be killing communists". I had one myself. That was back in the '80s, when we were proud to be a free Country.

Further info thru the MSM suggests that, yeah, the NY politicos and other so-called leaders were all hot for this display, so my opinion has kinda shifted. Recognition is one thing (one should recognize an adversarie's presence) but honor? the counterpart's actions/history should first be honorable.

This Country fought so hard and long to prevent the spred of communism, It is an outrage that now they want to honor it.

The President didn't light the building. He didn't give his permission either--it wasn't his call. The owners of the building can light it any color they like. The Empire State Building might be an American Icon, but it's private property. Period. Now go a-way or I shall taunt you a second time! |

period my azz, I didn't say obama lit it or gave permission to. But going by his policies that he's trying to force feed us with, I do believe that he agrees with it. A good President would have condemned something like this, or at least spoke out against it.

Sure...even if Saudi paid to have it lit up as if on fire...to celebrate the loss of the twin towers...on 9/11. How convenient to call it a personal property item. Ahhhh...I remember the days when our SAC Bomber crews on alert during the Cold War. They wore a cool T-Shirt under their flight suit. Wish I had a pic. So--- On the shirt was a silhouette of a B-52 Bomber. Behind the Bomber was a mushroom cloud. Under the bottom of the pic was the words: "It's Miller Time" Yes..those were the days I remember so fondly. Now my body is falling apart. Too many rads I guess. Time to crush another can of Miller. Gee those cans sure are easier to crush now; must be getting stronger after so many crushes. Oh' I remember now, they don't make Miller in tin cans any more. They use that sissy aluminum! yes....where has time gone? We need another Cold War.  Must had too many I had to edit over and over again...fizz! |
