I would like to see some of their methodology and rationale for these statements. As a single check, I looked on their website (opensecrets.org) at Jim Webb and could not reconcile the video's message. For example, the video indicates he got $168,347 from insurers and health care providers, but his page on their site shows $97,219 from health professionals, $17,750 from insurance companies, $11,250 from pharma, and $9800 from health services/hmo's - it does not add up, and also misrepresents the fact that the sum total of these (which includes individual contributions from anyone who listed employment in the above areas) make up only 4% of his total contributions. And is anyone surprised that DC-adjacent Virgina had a high proportion of lawyers?
The first person I looked up did not even match their own site... why should I but this?
