Wednesday will be a full moon again. I see people around me that act very strange during new and full moons. My wife is a fire cat during a full moon and we now avoid each other for a few days.

I know that some people on here will be over active and irritable.

I wonder why it is. I find nothing in books to help me know more.

Anyone have a link to non tinfoil hats problems during the full moon?

McLeod: The problem is one of water.
Chuck Norstadt: Water?
McLeod: Water. Women have, on average, about 5% more of it than do men, making them subject to different forces of gravity. Oh don't take my word for it, you can look it up in Newton. It's there.
Chuck Norstadt: Couldn't they be drained?
[McLeod laughs]
Chuck Norstadt: I'm serious!
McLeod: Well, I believe they're waiting for us to drink more fluids.

Of course, the moon's gravitational pull can affect the tides, and it certainly brings out the lunatics in full force.

The only thing worse is a full moon Monday, then nearly everyone seems to forget their meds and stupidity reigns supreme.

Glad you're safe Maine... Wink

Nah. Alcyone is pretty consistent. He express the same ideals and opinions whichever phase the moon is in Big Grin

I like the full moon, landscape is lit up. If you are outside, it's a natural light.

Now that we are all looking at day light savings time, I miss the sun and the warmth.

I miss the heat, hate the cold. I would rather wear shorts and tank tops, screw the sweat pants.

The most important thing to remember if going out at night during the full moon is to pack heat. And don't forget a few clips of silver bullets. That reminds me. If you hit a werewolf with a can of Coors Light, would it be effective? Wink

Any emergency room nurses here with tales of patient encounters during the full moon phase?

It is well documented in the hospital community how behavior is affected during these lunar phases. Wink

The "nuts" really come out then.

So that explains why my old BF tried to get back with me..... no, I think he was looney anyway.

I think the force of the moon is invigorating. For some reason, I always have very creative moments during full moons, and I always feel stronger and better.

And last night.... I woke up around 2 am feeling friskier than a frog. No point in even trying to sleep, I felt great. Went outside on the front step and looked up at the magnificent full moon in the clear blue velvet sky. It was so fantastic and refreshing after the rain, I had to make myself go back to bed.

My astrological sign is Cancer the Crab, they call us Moon Children... would that have anything to do with it?

They had it on the news a little while ago that they believed that the full moon did make people do things they normaly wouldn't do. Like fight, holler, hit spouse ect. And that animals travel further and hunt more. Where they came up with the data I ddon't know. I caught the end of it only.
