Have a question I hope someone can answer.

Took a physcial on base for a DoArmy job. Everything was ok but they found that my sugar was a little high (not crazy high, just noticeable). Doctor there said that she would not sign off on my physical until I'd seen my personal doctor. And got "under his care" for it. Basically they are making me see a personal doctor as a requirement for employment.

Seeing as I have to pay for this out of my own pocket (have no medical insurance at the moment). Is this legit? Has anyone else had to see (and pay for themselves) their personal doctor to get hired?

Keep in mind they haven't asked me to get any certain tests or anything. She just said "under a doctor's care". Why couldn't I be placed under hers, or another on base physician?

Doesn't make sense to me. Then again nothing really has so far.
