RE: http://www.military.com/opinion/0,15202,163455,00.html
These job interview questions were very informative and really helped prepared me to answer questions at an interview. Are there going to be any military job fair workshops in Dallas Texas? |

I wonder why the author didn't raise the question "why did you leave your last job?". My humble advice is to be honest without name calling. I've used "management and I were of a different opinion on key subjects". Careful, you may have to be more specific. Make sure your answer isn't petty. Once I interviewed with a Director who knew my last supervisor personally. Ouch! At that point I had to give details of the interactions and my side of the story. I was hired for my honesty!

I found this to be informative and it raised some concerns for my specific situation. I have been out of work for going on six months. My wife had a brain tumor removed and I have been taking care of her. Any suggestions on how to approach the gap in employment and how handled this situation?

i havent been asked those questions at all. ive had two interviews with the hiring manager and they both asked me if there was anything that would keep me from being late or prevent me from working shift hours. one did ask for me to tell them about myself and they both asked if i was willing to relocate. most of the questions they asked was already on my resume so i was just repeating myself.
