Anyone know if there will be a May 2010 ME servicewide?

The preliminary answer is, yes there will be. A message outlining SWEs, Advancements, CWO and "A" School applications will/should be out prior to the lateral solicitation.

To get an idea of what this msg "might" contain see ALCOAST 341/07 for the IT rating.

The cover page of the ME EPQ's shows that they are effective for the November 2010 SWE. If that's the case it's going to be a long wait until May 2011 to sit for the E7 test if accepted to lateral.

Like MC Lowry said above, what for the message to come out! Before making assumptions, like an effective date written on EPQs, wait for a message.

(Hint, look up what his job is. Might give a little hint on how much to trust his advice)

Dang! I didn't even pay attention to the profile or name! Hope all is well. Have any helicopters pick you up from leave lately?

I just read on another C.G. related board that the billet map has been approved/released. Can someone please post/e-mail proposed ME1 billet locations? I'm on leave this month and can't seem to find the info online.

Thanks!

MK1 A.

MK1 The RFMC was at my station today and said the billet map isn't completed yet, but his force notes have a basic run down at what the billets look like, not what rank will be filling them.

Don't know how accurate this is, but below is the post I was referring to from the MST hub forum. I tried to post a question there regarding specifics but they don't allow non MST types to post on their board. NO EXCEPTIONS!

"These are billets we are losing, not people. After re-reading I realized it sounded like I was talking about MSTs lateraling over. The ME Billet Map was approved on 28April and all Districts and Areas recently had a meeting on the subject. The information was passed down and got to me because 3/4ths of our billets are being converted to ME. Our District was looking for feedback.

Here is the information in a nutshell. If you want more detailed information, such as what specific billets are being converted over, please let me know.

TAC South: ME1=3, ME2=8, ME3=29, MEC=11 Total=51

MSSTs: ME1=36, ME2=59, ME3=144, MEC=12 Total=263

PACTAC: ME2=7, ME3=30, MEC=9 Total=46

MSRT: ME1=7, ME2=30, ME3=36, MEC=8 Total=83

Sectors: ME1=34, ME2=92, ME3=74, MEC=18, MECS=1, MLES=6 Total=225

Cutters: ME1=40, ME2=2, MEC=2 Total=44

CGPDs: MLES=3, ME1=16, ME2=20, ME3=26, MEC=10, MECM=1 Total=87

Stations: ME1=20, ME2=65, ME3=52 Total=137

PACLANT: ME1=5, ME2=5, MEC=3, MECS=1 Total=15

RFTC Billets: ME1=14, ME2=1, MEC=5 Total=20

TRASYS: ME1=10, ME2=4, MEC=10,MECS=1, MLES=1 Total=25

Other: MLES=5 Total=5

Total=985

Totals for each Rate:
MLES 15
MECM 1
MECS 3
MEC 88
ME1 194 (Note: 40 are on cutters and PBs don't get any.)
ME2 293
ME3 391

Total Billets = 985

Rate loss to ME:
BM = 355
DC = 15
EM = 2
ET = 1
GM = 256
MK = 164
MST = 72 (See the changes in my post above. I read the wrong line. These are the actual number of MST billets being converted.)
OS = 29
YN = 2
PO = 56"

Soo... 194 firsts... wonder how many PO1s are going to submit a lateral package. Also do these numbers take in account of the PS rating being faded out?
