Is there a good CG site for info on the Ice Rescue STAN visits? Is this a local district thing? Thank you.

D9 has an Ice Rescue Manual D9INST 16130. It lays out what PPE is required, PMS on the gear and Sources of Supply. There is no STAN Team. Each Sector has an Ice RFO Team, they usually come once a winter for about two days. Check, RSS, Admin and on Ice Drills. I hope this info helps if you have any more questions let me know.

The D9 Ice Rescue Man. is hard to find online. If you need a copy i'd contact Sta. Saginaw River for one since thy're the D9 ICCE. Went to the school there in Jan. Probably the best CG training I've had in a long while. Very informative. If you get a chance to go, go. They hook you up with a lot of training aids other than the manual. Great stuff, Great school. And the Double Tree Hotel you stay at is REALLY nice.
