Hey Amy Morris, Your Grandfather more than likely served on the Barnett after my father(William Green Bryan Jr.) My father was a shipfitter(welder). I see in my USS Barnett cruise book that your grandfather must have worked as a storekeeper or ship's serviceman. There is a pic of him and all the guys he worked with.
