Hi,

My, name is Carlos, Im an IRR Marine interested in keeping up with my military training. Of course this training is voluntary, so that being the case, would my civilian employer be obligated to allow me to attend training? I would be recieving official orders. Thanks for the info!

i believe as an IRR soldier-or marine-you are entitled to the same job protections as drilling resevists-i.e-you can not be charged vacation days for attending IDT periods-you can not be penalized in anyway do to your military service-the best thing to do is google USERA and read it throughly
