Live simply. Love generously.
Care deeply. Speak kindly.
Leave the rest to God.

I'm freakin' crippled now.

My butt-knuckle is killing me.

You won't find any pictures really. That's OPSEC, even if everyone talks about it. Wink
It's totally cushy there though. Everything you want and need. Stores to eat out at, PX, etc.
Don't know what the per diem is anymore these days, been a few years since my love was there.
Well, actually he was there a month or so ago....said it hadn't changed much.
I think all the living areas have a/c now. It's just hot is all. Cooling season is coming up though in a few weeks, so it'll start to cool down somewhat for a few months til spring hits.

My husband is there now. It is pretty cushy, everything is air conditioned, plenty of places to eat although some of them have pretty crappy food. Worst complaint from our end is that the internet is ridiculous, you may pay $35/month and only get a handful of days of service. Not sure how IA works, but with Army deployments, per diem after the fact is $3.50 a day, or $105/month. There are huge barracks at Arifjan, my husband shares a room with one other guy and I think they have one bathroom per hall.
