Where are all the active duty Air Defenders? This forum is getting close to 40,000 views since it was established and out of that number there have been only a scattering of post and the vast majority of those that do post are usually the same (less than a dozen) people. Out of that, less than 2% have been on active duty. I know you are out there and I know many of you “look in” to read what is being posted. Actually, I am at a loss as to why more of you don’t have something to say, especially those of you on active duty. We would all like to hear your voices as to what is going on now in ADA. Current ADA news, events, situations, personal experiences, “war stories”, ADA jokes, deployment news/issues, etc. we want to hear from you all.
I've been out of the game a little too long to be considered an 'active duty' air defender. Got some good stories and anecdotes. I'll try to contribute some more when I can.
Stingerwooten, we will be looking forward to reading some of your stories and anecdotes. We all have a lot of things to tell and hopefully everyone will start to share their experiences more.
Elesso, never fear my friend, I've read many of you post and more often than not you are spot on. Us ADA'ers are few and far between in the big scheme of things so we have to stick together.
This is OUR ADA site and it will only be what we all make it.
I'm still here IHAWKER and I'm still on active duty for the time being anyway . I appreciate the efforts of guys like you and Migbuster. I'm not real real good at startig conversations but I'll try to be more active.
Speaking of the news, what does everyone think of the President Obama / Secretary Gates announcement on the future of missile defense in Europe. I encourage all to go to the DOD website and look at the transcript of the SEC DEF press conference when he made the announcement.
There are many many things happening in air defense not just in the US Army, but with our joint brethren and the international community as well.

COOOlhandluke, don't be sorry about being a vet as your voice is just as important as anyone elses here. We want to hear from EVERYONE that is or was connected to ADA.
Working, and I'm not so good at starting conversations because my memory is in need of refreshing. There are many memories of the Vulcan/Stinger days locked away, just need to activate them
IHAWKER, you have to post a lot to pique the interest of the read-only folks to respond. Look at what ipsonce an deanosaur are doing in the Marine General Discussions, that seems to work in a limited sense.
The other thing you can do is visit ADA related websites and tell them about this Forum or Military.com. That will net a few posters.
Problem is some folks get bored with this website and just move on. The restrictions they have in place about quoting or links is also killing the Forums.
Yes, I have been AWOL for a time.. I finally got moved out of Mexico and boy had a time getting back on line with Mil Com...change of email and all that. but nice to see some familiar faces..
Will check in as often as I can.. And thanks IHAWKER for your efforts here...
Google my member name and you will see some of where I have been for 3+ years.
Sorry fella's I've been away for way to long. I hope I can log in more often now that I have slowly gotten back on my feet here in Michigan with work and all.
Where are you IHAWKER??? I have seen you out in the other parts of the forum, but I haven't seen you here much. I wish you would start a new thread with a story or some good current information. I enjoy your ADA stories. Wait!! I just thought of one!! I very seldom start threads but I for once have a good one!!!
