My husband recently received orders to report to an ADA unit that is set to "deploy" to Korea. What types of things would a 25F do in an ADA unit in Korea.

All ADA units depend heavily on communications and data transfer etc. Most likely that is what he is being assigned to an ADA unit for. Depending on the country of operation, ADA units have an assortment of support personnel from signal, military police security, and infantry for ground defense, motor pool, dining facility, and on and on. Like most other units, ADA is not a stand alone entity but a collection of various MOS’s that make up an operational unit. You did not list your husband’s rank so I cannot address his specific skill level or duties. Hopefully this answers your question. Good luck with this assignment.

Note: The Army recently restructured this job from 31F to MOS 25F.

Interprets orders and compiles system statistics for the Shift or Node. Requests logistical support for switching teams or shifts. I was a 25F in a ADA unit for a year and I did not do one thing I learned in AIT there. he will most likely be in the CRG section of HHB on equipment he has never seen. I hated it. most of our stuff was broken anyways and outdated when i left we were just getting radio upgrades for our radio vans but luckily all of us 25F's got a chance to re class since they are phasing out the MOS so I got out of ADA as fast as I could. I hated it especially Table VIII and Table XII crew drills, It was the worst experience of my life

True. Spent half my time repairing damage, equipment failures and shortcommings discovered (or caused by) crew drills. Never a dull moment.
