My son is going on his first FEX in a couple of weeks. I know that it has been mentioned in the past that there were a few things you should take with you beyond what you are required to bring.

If you guys could let me know, I will pass it on to him.

i packed tons of pocket foods for my hubby.. and here our command let us send stuff to them while on Fex... I know alot of the guys were trying to get my hubby to hand over some of the food because sometimes they would miss chow or they would have the say 3am watch to look out for the "bad guys"

Mainly i sent... baby food (only the fruit kind), sunflower seeds, candy, dip (they couldn't smoke if they were on watch, it would give out positions), ummm pictures, oh and i sent those microwaves meals (no they didn't have microwaves.

Is he going somewhere cold for FEX or Hot?
Beside what the spouse mentioned below there are other items he will want depending on the weather...
