I'm curious about something. Are all of the Navy SeaBee platoon leaders CEC officers?
I've only been in medical units (Navy and Army) where the platoon leaders hold a medical MOS per say, but they are not actual healthcare practitioners. Doctors, PAs etc are in the unit, but not billeted as being in charge because they are expected to perform only in their clinical role until later in their career. MIKE |

Ham, plug that into the find feature. I seem to remember that subject being discussed a while back.

The answer is yes and no. Under the right set of events you could find a CEC officer leading a platoon but normally it would be a chief or a good first leading the platoon. We just don't have that many officers with us.
