WITH ALL THE TALK OF WOMEN BEING ASSIGNED TO SUBMARINES SOME ARE SAYING THE BEST WAY IS TO HAVE AN ALL FEMALE CREW. IF THIS WAS TO HAPPEN WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST NICKNAME FOR AN ALL FEMALE SHIP

Well Neal that would be good I suppose…

Possibly just calling it the over ripe “U.S.S. Tunaboat” would be apropos… BTW Neal, where have you been? I checked the USSVI member’s database awhile back and you got dropped…?? WTF Shipmate…?? I was hoping to meet you and “mturnb” in San Diego for the USSVI National Convention last month, (BTW I had a total Blast!!!)…. But alas that did not come to pass. More later, about this subject on the general discussion page concerning this “Stupid AZZ” proposal…

May All My Submarineer Shipmates Have Fair Winds and Following Seas

Best Regards, "Buck"

Yeah, and in a few years, when the navy and it's female sailors have transitioned, and that job becomes "normal", Hollywood will do it's usual thing and make a tv series about the female sub crew, all played by supermodels of course.

Hey Neal, Submarineer Shipmate, DUDE!!!... Thanks for the SITREP… (What a Crack up!!!)
Neal, please don’t take this as a “personal aspersion”, but your posting and the time you posted it (I looked at it this AM at work) and I thought hmmmmmm, ok??? Neal’s overall cognitive skills, sentence conjugation and general communicative skills may possibly be compromised by two things…
A very/early-late “Hydraulic Breakfast” or a earlier than normal “Hydraulic Lunch” .. But due to the time difference between the Islands and the Pacific Coast and the fact he IS ON VACATION… well, I will allow it to Neal that he is still on PDT… And that’s Okay!!!!… Have a good time Neal, and if I were there with you I’d hoist a “Mornin’ Warshot” with you also!!!!.

Have a Good Time Shipmate, and Thanks for your Cold War Submarineer Service.

SSN, back in the day = Saturday and Sunday nights only!
