My husband is finishing MT C-School and we've received orders to join the Kentucky in early July. I was wondering if there is anyone here is on our new crew (gold) or boat? We've heard that it's supposedly haunted.

Being haunted? I don't know about that, I never seen anything wierd on the boat. The only thing that's kind of wierd is everytime when she pulls back in, no matter which crew has it, it's always raining. But then again we're in Washington.

Haunted... LOL. People said the same thing about Nevada. We had 2 yard birds die in newcon. And we DID carry the ashes of an old BB Nevada guy around in the COs safe for like 3 years... but hey... I can neither confirm nor deny the existance of spectral forces aboard my vessel.

I was on the Kentucky Gold in the mid 90's. It wasn't haunted then. Must have been the move to the West Coast that did it.

Or is it just the Spooks on board. You know the ones that were never there.

It was something my hubby's LPO said to him when he got his orders. I guess the LPO was on the Kentucky during the move (or right after). So maybe lamedog's right... it is the West Coast! LOL
