Beer... Beer is good.
I kegged my latest batch last night. MMMMMMmmmm... very smooth. Smooth as a prom queens thighs... and only slightly more dangerous. I did an extract batch... no time for all grain anymore. I used 6lbs of Amber malt, 3 lbs dry light malt, and 3 lbs of Honey. Yea, the honey adds a nice kick, both in taste and in the buzz zone. My brother in law arrives today from Hawaii... I aimed to have this ready for him... so we can have a real good time. LOL. |

LOL, Catherine... my wife gave birth 9 months ago. First thing she wanted when she came home from the hospital was a Stout. Good for the milk production, don'tcha know.

Thanks for the info! I'll try to find those for the celebration when the baby is born. Of course, it will be october then, so I'll need to get some good german imports as well.....and make some saurbraten. yum!.....hmmmm now to debate which german beers to get....... |
