Let me have line one going out, and give me underway watch section two, in sonar. Heck, if it's Mack that's the Skipper, I'll even requalify Sonar Supe.

Just go easy on me when it comes to stores load. Those TDU weights are heavy!

Well it has been a few years but I did cross qualify Sonar and Fire Control. But I would be happy running the ESM/Radar again.

I am sure they have a few extra hulls we could fix up in Bremerton. Wink

Yeah, well, we missed the last funding cycle - so we had to start over with a new justification and such. Besides, some of us are old - and we had a 'senior moment'! Big Grin

BTW, NWIP - how's your new duty station?

I volunteer as a NUB FSA (crank) with goal of qualifying as culinary specialist without having to qualify for any other duty. LOL.

Razz If you're talking boomer I'll wave from the pier but if it's Long Black Fast Attack I'll do bomb watch and various other A-Gang stuff . Long as I don't have to climb thru hatches too often I'm good . Big Grin

Yum Beer and Rum on a Boat. I had the unusual pleasure of loading beer on a submarine. An Aussie Boat that was on our pier in Pearl Harbor. Victoria Bitters MMMMMMMMMMMM. An excellent beer that sadly cannot be had here in the states.

Just needed to make sure. Seemed awfully important at the time.

I'll push. And I'll do DC. And I can even help with the diesel.

Qualified Lookout,topside and belowdecks watch.
Helmsmen/Planesmen. Sonar Operator and Supervisor. I have also loaded a few torpedoes in my time too.
Mack let me know when its time to "station the manuvering watch and make all prepreations for getting underway". Lets go with a smokeboat because being a non-nuc I would like a crack and running a Rockcrusher...Operate 2 big CATS a Waukesha and 3 Superiors now. Along with all sorts of pumps and motors to push thru 60MGD worth of wastewater in a days work. I will even try to get an old shipmates formula for holiday rasin hooch to boot!!! Razz

You're hired, Sludge! Gotta be a smokeboat. Works great in the littorals. Little holiday raisin hooch wouldn't hurt, either. We used to splice the mainbrace all the time when on patrol in a smokeboat...with USN-issued hooch, too. But that's another story. Beer
